Office of Payment Accuracy and Recovery
The mission of the Office of Payment Accuracy and Recovery (OPAR) is to ensure program integrity by improving payment accuracy and recovery. This is accomplished through the identification, investigation, and recovery of improper payments for DHS programs, including Medicaid, TANF, Food Stamps, and Child Care.
OPAR works in close partnership with other DHS program offices as well as the client and provider communities to provide education and assistance in program integrity efforts as they relate to payment accuracy and recovery.
