Major Goals and Accomplishments of Employment First Outreach
- "Start the Conversation about Employment First" to engage self-advocates and their families, state and county employees, employment/community inclusion and residential providers, schools and business owners about what it would take to maintain current employment and increase integrated employment results for people with developmental disabilities. A variety of community events were sponsored:
- Employment First Orientation for Case Managers
- Regional Employment First Forums
- Statewide Employment First Summit
- Assist and Support State Implementation of Employment First
- Community Leadership for Employment First in Oregon: A Call to Action (2010) - Published by WiSe as a part of the Oregon Employment First Outreach Project, this paper provides a 'blueprint' for organizing state systems and community capacity towards Employment First implementation. It reflects the input and lessons learned through Forums and Orientations conducted throughout the state.

- Newsletters and other alerts delivered through free subscription services
- Gathering and publishing success stories
- Providing local and statewide Outcomes and Data
- Develop and Support Local Employment First Leadership Teams
