Teach-Back Modules

The “Navigating Transitions” workshops were a great success.  They provided a launching point for leadership teams to adapt to the new culture of change and assist those around them to do the same. From the overwhelming requests to extend these sessions to line staff, the Business Transition training team has created an additional phase of “Navigating Transitions” (Navigating Transitions Teach-back Modules).  These pre-packaged activities have been created for field staff from sections of the original workshop. 

We will be emailing these pre-packaged activities to branch leadership, as well as posting them on the Modernization website. Each bi-monthly module will build on the prior module.

Below is an outline of the schedule and modules:

February:
Module 1 – Self Reflection

April:
Module 2 – Change Style Preference

June:
Module 3 – Organizational Change

Module 6 – Developing a Plan

Each module may contain an activity guide, facilitator guide, participant handouts and a PowerPoint. 

We are very excited to see your accomplishments from each of these activities and look forward to your feedback! Leadership teams are encouraged to share their experiences from the module activities with the Business Transition unit.  Send your testimonials, pictures and feedback to any of the three Business Transition staff listed below.  We will share these on the modernization website (http://www.dhs.state.or.us/modernization/index.htm).

This can be in any form, but we have outlined a couple of suggestions below.

1. 1. A picture of your group during the activity and we would love to see any of the finished products! (We will post these on our Website to share with all of the branches)
2. 2. Invite us to sit in on your session.
3. 3. An E-Mail to the Business Transition Analyst supporting your district.

We are open to any other forms of feedback, so be creative and most of all have fun!
