Voice Mail Greetings - Field Offices

Instructions to record greetings in field offices. (Most field offices have Norstar voicemail and a few have Meridan Mail. If you have another phone system, please see your phone administrator.)

Norstar System

Record Greetings

• Log into your voice mail (voice mail button or Feature 981).
• Enter your password and press #.
• Press 8 for mailbox options.
• Press 2 for greetings.
• Press 1 to record.
• Press 1 for prime.
• Press 1 to record - yes.
• Record your message by speaking into the handset.
• Press # when done.
• Press 1 to listen to your greeting.
• Press 2 to erase and re-record or # to accept.
• Press Rls (Release) to exit.

See your phone administrator, or LAE to:

• Reset your password, initialize your mailbox.
• Delete a mailbox.
• Change your name in the company directory.
• Changing person that your mail box dial '0' command connects to.
