Make request for non-standard IT to OIS Technology & Strategy via e-mail (Request, Exceptions). |

Determine if existing standard does meet the stated requirements:

Provide detailed information on the business need, functionality required, and timeframe needed via e-mail. Use Hardware/Software Purchase Business Requirements (Non-Standard IT Purchase Request) form. |

Consult with requestor regarding:

Determine if a need for a new enterprise standard exists.

Compare and contrast available like products and processes:
Produce recommendation / report. Determine the impact of setting a standard on the enterprise for level of review and approval required.
Upon decision by appropriate body, notify requestor and OIS Acquisition Coordinator of outcome.
