Guidance for Reviewing Policy Drafts
How to read proposed policy revisions:
Portions with a means language or format (style) is being added or changed.
Portions with a strikeout means language is being deleted.
Guidance for Reviewing Rules Drafts
How to read proposed rule revisions:
Portions bolded mean new language is being added.
Portions with a strikeout means language is being deleted.
The following may be typed near the top of the first page of a rule:
*This is a New Rule - indicates this is all new language to be adopted.
*This Rule Has Been Revised in its Entirety - indicates that a major portion of the rule has been altered so that showing
changes is too cumbersome and difficult to read. The entire current version of the rule will be shown with strikeout followed by the entire revised rule shown in bold.
*This Rule is Repealed - indicates the entire rule (rule number/language) is being deleted.
