SNAP

Annual increase in standard deduction

Annual increase to shelter deduction as well as temporary rule stipulating LIHEAP assistance must be greater than $20 per year in order to be eligible for FUA if not otherwise eligible.

Annual increase to SNAP income standards

Non-citizen chapter now in the SNAP section of the Family Services Manual and has been completely re-written and reformatted with a new formatting style.

Rule change to increase the resource limit for some SNAP households from $2,000 to $2,250.

Worker Guide

The Decision Notice Preparation Tips section of the APD Worker Guide was updated to reflect current Medicaid procedures set forth in APD-IM-028. Scenarios were also added to address closures, reductions, and denials of certain special needs payments as well as denial due to withdrawal of an application by a client.
