The Zebley Children rule has been repealed as there are no longer children under the age of 18 who met the disability criteria in1996.

The Minimum Monthly Maintenance Needs Allowance and the Community Spouse Monthly Housing Allowance have been updated. Also, clarification about how to determine allowable shelter expenses when a CBC charges an all-inclusive rate which includes meals, housekeeping, and utilities was added.

Updated Application Requirements section to clarify that an application is not needed when a current Medicaid client applies for services but that certain information should be distributed.

Clarification that medical costs for prescriptions filled less than monthly can be converted to a monthly amount when calculating medical deductions

Clarification that workers should send referrals to SSA when SSI recipients enter a nursing facility

Clarification about what due date should be indicated on pending notices (look for possible changes in the coming months)

Information was added to the EPD section regarding the new credit/debit card for paying the participant fee

Continuous Eligibility section updated with current procedures
