Reach out for the skills necessary to move DHS toward its vision and to enhance your own career
The DHS Leadership Academy is geared to preparing the leaders of the future as well as enhancing the skills of those already in such positions.
Through training sessions, mentorship and work on projects, participants will develop their competence in strategic thinking, team building, negotiation, and other skills vital in today's changing work place. Investing in workforce development through projects such as the Leadership Academy is a priority for DHS.
This 2009-10 session will be the sixth for DHS. Prior participants and managers alike have praised the experience as being of great benefit to participants and to the agency.
