SACU Training
The Stabilization and Crisis Unit (SACU) Central Training Department provides New Employee Training, mandatory biennial certification courses, and courses for career development and enhancement. The SACU training unit strives to offer current and relevant curricula to meet the needs of staff supporting clientele with challenging behaviors.

SACU Training Department is available to provide training by request on the tops of Introduction to Autism Spectrum Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Borderline Personality Disorders and Antisocial Personality Disorder.

Registration
Registration for courses is completed through iLearnOregon with the approval of the employees Supervisor. Registration in classes is on a first come first serve basis until filled. It is the responsibility of the employee to maintain current certification in the Oregon Intervention System, American Heart Association First Aid/CPR and SACU Medication Administration sponsored by the SACU Central Training Department.
Staff and their managers will receive automated reminders of upcoming training. If staff is unable to attend, it is the responsibility of the Site Manager to go into the DHS Training page and cancel the employee from their class. If staff is sick for the day, a call should be made to central Office with that notification.
