Teach-Back Testimonials

Our awesome field partners have been working through the Navigating Transitions Teach-Back modules… and sending in their feedback!

Cottage Grove

We did Module 2 in Cottage Grove last week - facilitated by our HSS 3 Melissa Cook.

Presenting Module 2 was a great success. We incorporated it into an ongoing team activity that we have committed to over many months. It fit in very well! Unfortunately, I didn't think to take pictures during the activity. Melissa got some afterwards - the attached expectations and headgear pics. The headgear goes with the activity. The expectations came out of our last team activity session, where our team listed what they expected from a peer facilitator and what should be expected from the group. Melissa added the graphics, which really made it special!

Thank you for supplying the activity!

Florence SSP

Business Transition TDS1 trainer Shaunia Sands facilitated a Teachback in Florence. While she was there, she captured their change word cloud and their self-evaluations of their change spectrum positions! Thanks, Florence SSP (and thanks Shaunia!)

Grants Pass APD

The Grants Pass APD office came up with this great word cloud when they completed the first Navigating Transitions Teach-back Module 1!

Word Cloud

Hermiston SSP

The Hermiston SSP staff completed the activity at our staff meeting this morning. Staff reflected on changes around integration, intake models, WOD process, and a few others; including some personal changes. We were able to reflect on the difficulties of change and looking back now to see that many difficult changes had positive outcomes, while others became learning experiences.

We have attached a picture of our team with the "word cloud" that we created. Some staff in the picture used facial expressions to represent some of the words on the word cloud.

La Grande SSP

I just thought I would share photos of our staff here in La Grande doing one of the activities . . . .and the results.!

It was the one about typical reactions, responses and behaviors associated with change :) I am currently having the pictures printed on a color printer so I can post them in the area where we have our huddles etc. The staff here in La Grande is soooo awesome to give presentations to!!!! They participate in such a positive fashion.

This morning at our staff meeting I did the “perceptions” activity where you read five questions and then wrote down the answers about “what’s a while?”. . . .where did they go on a “long trip” ect. We had so much fun with it!!!!
